I would recommend Sandicliffe Leicester because staff were friendly & helpful, prices were explained before work started. My only complaint was that they needed to keep my car for an extra day and I was told that someone would ring me when it was ready for collection. I eventually phoned to find out when I could collect it & was told it had been ready for a while. By this time the weather had change & I got soaking wet because the weather changed for the worst.

they probed to understand what I wanted and were helpful on the telephone.
They did not try to rip us off but did what was necessary.

I would not recommend Sandicliffe Leicester because the door to my car fuel cap was broken and I wanted to get it fixed. Chose Sandicliffe as I had bought the car there and frankly, thought service would be good even if it comes with a price.
Called Sandicliffe, told the problem and given a quote. I was booked in for a date the week after, explained that since it was a small part, the paint would cost a lot if it was opened just for the part and therefore I have to wait for the paint to be opened up for other cars. I was happy with this and sent my car on the date arranged.
When we came to drop the car on the date arranged, it turned out the agent I spoke to (in Nottingham) had booked a slot with the services department, when it should have been sent to the body shop. Hence additional confusion until the servicing clerk worked out the job should have been sent to the body shop.
The body shop took the part which needed painting. They were unable to give even a rough estimate on how long we'd have to wait for this to get done.
Sandicliffe promised to call me when the part was painted to arrange installation on the same day. They failed to call me and I only found out when I chased the matter up myself.
When I went to have the part fitted the employee I dealt with then realised he had to order yet another part before the door can be attached, creating even further delay.
In summary, the entire process was drawn out unneccesarily because every miscommunications occurred at every step. The call centre operative booked the job into the wrong department and the chap who was supposed to organise fitting the part didn't even know beforehand that an additional part would be required. What sounded like a simple repair has taken several visits and has taken three weeks and I'm still waiting for the fuel cap door to be fitted.
